SEGA anunció hoy que ha logrado un acuerdo con PlatinumGames Inc., compañía desarrolladora recientemente formada por miembros de Clover (Okami, Viewtiful Joe, God Hand). Bajo el acuerdo, PlatinumGames desarrollará tres títulos para SEGA – MADWORLD, Infinite Line y Bayonetta.

MADWORLD:

MADWORLD, su primer título será lanzado en el primer cuarto del año 2009. Producido por Atsushi Inaba, MADWORLD es un juego en tercera persona para el Nintendo Wii con un único estilo blanco y negro, presentando fondos que parecen combinación de novelas gráficas y mundos 3D. A medida que los jugadores combaten contra sus opositores, deben dominar el uso de diversas armas y artículos encontrados en su entorno, como las sierras y los signos de carretera, mientras que comentarios de deportes complementan la mecánica de juego. Con su irreverente humor y el exceso de violencia, MADWORLD entregará una experiencia de juego única que actualmente falta en el Nintendo Wii.

Infinite Line: Es un juego RPG exclusivo para el Nintendo DS, se lleva a cabo en el espacio y le da a los jugadores la capacidad de controlar, construir, equipar y personalizar más de 150 naves espaciales. Infinite Line extiende el límite del hardware del DS, ofreciendo más de 200 personajes y la capacidad de controlar múltiples naves espaciales al mismo tiempo. EL lanzamiento será en el 2009 y actualmente está siendo producido por Atsushi Inaba y dirigido por Hifumi Kouno (desarrollador de Nude Maker), Infinite Line es una de los más complejos títulos RPG desarrollado hasta la fecha para el Nintendo DS.

Bayonetta

Es un estilizado y cinematográfico juego de acción, dirigido por el creador Hideki Kamiya y con lanzamiento en el 2009 en el Xbox 360 y PlayStation 3. Una bruja con poderes más allá de la mera comprensión de los mortales, Bayonetta se enfrenta contra innumerables enemigos angelicales, llegando a proporciones épicas, en un juego de 100% pura acción. Movida finales se realizan con gracia mientras Bayonetta se mueve de una lucha a otra. Bayonetta amplía los límites del género de acción, con su ritmo de combate rápido y dinámico.
